The Flow meter measures the volume of water flowing through your cleaner. The flow meter can be used as a diagnostic measure if your cleaner should not be running properly. The flow meter is inserted on the last section of hose (where the pool cleaner would be attached, not in skimmer box) Hold this under water whilst your pump is on and measure the suction of your pump.
This meter is used for testing the water flow of your pump. IT IS NOT INTENDED AS A FIXTURE. The meter gives an indication as to whether the pump of filter is struglling with water flow.
